Windows XP goes to the grave

Which other company in the world would end support for a product currently in use by 64% of the Internet connected computers? I know, Vista is the shit… just remove “the” and I totally agree. Granted a operating system must evolve but the users seems to disagree about the direction it is taking. The only hope we have is that Windows 7 will be all what Vista wasn’t, that is cheap, simple, secure and efficient. They lost me to Ubuntu a long time ago, I only use Windows when forced to for different work related reasons. Soon many will realize that Windows isn’t much simpler to use for the average computer owner, only reason they still have it is tradition… and the fact that working with Microsoft Office from home is something employers almost assume you can do (and keep it updated to the latest version mind you or you might as well go fish).
