Slow Google Analytics
I’ve found out Google Analytics makes websites slow when using Firefox with the NoScript addon. Apparently the “allow domain” get’s a bit confused since the analytics script use more than the first domain to run the scripts.
More detail and a suggested temporary solution can be found in my main Internet blog:

Hope it helps if you’re having problems with it. Unfortunately if you are experiencing it on a site you’re visiting there is nothing you can do about it. I’ve found the easiest work around is to hit “stop” and then “go” to the page again. The scripts doesnt seem to lock the second time the page is loaded.
I’m thinking about developing an own Firefox addon
I thought I’d start here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Dev_:_Extensions
Anyone else have some pointers ideas for resources to check out? There are alot of technologies I need to read up on, of those mentioned on the site I only really know JavaScript and basic XML/XSLT but not the “flavours” they are using in the Firefox project.
